Tekwon's research team reported bio-active compound peptides extracted from shark byproducts showed significant antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and bone strengthening effects.

After three years of efforts, Tekwon's research team reported that self-developed high efficient fish byproduct processing technology was used to obtain highly stable, pure and active short peptides from sharks. The novel short compound peptides extracted from shark byproducts showed significant antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and bone strengthening effects. The results were published in the latest issue of Food Science & Nutrition, a journal under the US publisher Wiley.
